Machine Overview
Also known as a stone column cutting machine, this computer-controlled machine cuts cylindrical and profiled rotational stone components. Profile-based control supports changes between column designs. The dual-workpiece configuration processes two pieces per cycle for batch production of columns, vase-shaped columns and balusters.
Workpieces & Applications
Suitable for architectural columns, garden balusters and rotational stonework with changing diameters. Rough cutting and subsequent operations can be planned from product drawings. Head count, fixtures and saw blades must be selected for the actual workpiece.
Key Features
- Computer-controlled profiling: follows the target profile with less need to change physical templates.
- Dual-workpiece processing: cuts two pieces per cycle in the dual-workpiece configuration.
- Variable-diameter profiling: cuts columns, vase-shaped columns and balusters.
- Workpiece-based configuration: selects blades, fixtures and processing arrangements for length, diameter, material and profile.
